Whenever I try to import a file from a cd into a program,
such as Flash, Premiere, Movie Maker, etc., it says the
file cannot be imported. I assume this has to do with the
file type (correct me if I am wrong). So how can I change
file types? For example, the file type on a cd is .cda. I
want to change it to a .wav. How can I do this?

Ripping the CD track will transform it into a wav file. AudioGrabber :
http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ suits me fine, but there are others
around eg. CDex http://www.cdex.n3.net/

Cheers,
Jerry
