file corruption

hello, on my movie maker program I was trying various times to upload audio,
music. Then it said file corruption, how can I upload these songs, and why is
this happening?
 
Is it only with one particular audio file or any audio file you try?
What type of audio (file extension) are you trying to import?
Does the audio file(s) play fine in your media player?
