File copy from device to desktop

Is there a way to initiate something on a Pocket PC to copy files to a
desktop? The users will copy to various laptops and desktops so I would
prefer not to have to install a RAPI app on each computer but will if
needed.

Well, you'll have to have *something* on the desktop machine. ActiveSync is
at least something that a person would associate with the mobile devices.
You could use a Web server or FTP server on the PC, too, or a simple socket
program running there, but those assume that you can establish some sort of
network connection between the mobile device and the PC. You haven't told
us what connection you're going to make...

Jeff,

I think installing a Rapi app on each computer will probably be the easiest
way to control uploading files.
