hi!

I have read in a Microsoft info that if i safe a file "foo.txt" in notepad
to c:\program files\ as standard user it should write to \Virtual Store
\(The User's account security identifier (-SID)\Program Files\foo.txt.

But when i try that example it just sais no permission to write in c:
\program files.

any ideas?

Hello,

Virtualization is disabled for your application if it meets one or more of
the following criteria:

- It contains a Vista-style manifest
- It is a compiled 64-bit program
- It is running elevated (as administrator)
- You have disabled UAC

I agree, I guess if DocMAX is testing notepad of Windows Vista.

You will get what you want if you test the notepad execute of Windows XP.
