File and printer sharing setting doesn't persist

David

I want File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks turned on but
it gets turned off automatically whenever I power down. How can I make
this persistent?

TIA,
David

What do you have to do, after powering back up,
to get FPSMN working ("turned on"?) again?

I go into the wireless connection and select the checkbox.

Thanks,
David

David,

My guess would be another service, or the network device that it's bound to,
isn't starting up successfully. What do you have to do, after powering back up,
to get FPSMN working ("turned on"?) again?

What WiFi clients have you tried? Make sure only one is running AT ANY TIME.

If the problem isn't with the WiFi client, I'd check with the WiFi device
vendor. Make sure that you have the latest drivers for the WiFi device first.
