I need help. I have never used fields in MS Word before, but I am now drafting a very lenghty contract with multiple cross-references between clauses. I would like for the references to update themselves throughout the contract if I e.g. insert a new clause near the beginning. This would save me a lot of time and trouble. MS Word Help is not of much use in this area, so I would appreciate if someone could set it out in laymen's terms.
