Fields are not working

I am using Acess 2003 and in subform I add three fields
Quantity Order
Quantity Shipped
Quantity Balance
I get error message " An expression you entered is the wrong data type for one of the arguments".
I have these fields already.
Products
Unit Price
Line Price
I try to create this subform if customer order in quantity and we ship less so subform can show balance quantity and charge only shipped items.
Any help appreciated. I am novice user.

Hafeez, sorry to be so long getting back on this. Have you resolved
the problem?

If not, where and how are you "adding the fields"? I would not expect
this message from just creating a new textbox; do you have any Macros
or VBA code? What's the Control SOurce of each control?
