Field Type Number

I have a form with a button to insert a new record, but i want that the
button put in the field of that new record, the next number as the last
record, similar to autonumber(but i don't want the field to be autonumber)
If someone could tell me the code to put in the button to do that?

Look up the DMax function. You can set the Default Value of the text box to
something like:

= DMax("IDValue", "MyTable")+1

Where i can see all functions that i can use on access? (Like the DMax
Function)

And is there any function for me to see if a field of the last record
is empty?
