Field to say "Start Date"

Hi All,

I have a field which I have put the 'Short Date' Input mask on.

I would like to have the field say "Start Date" but when the user
clicks on it it lets them enter in the Short Date.

Does anyone know how to do this please?

it is a little uncommon, why dont you use label's?

That's what I've done so far, but I've seen it used in other
applications and I think it looks good.

So you can improvise, use another textbox above the one you want, this new
with the text, then when it get focused it get invisible and set the focus to
the other textbox(that one with data format), hope this help because is the
only way that I know
