I have a form, on the first page I have Merge fields which fill in basic
details, whatever is typed on the second page. I have used the Ctrl+F9 to
bring up the {} and used REF fullname\*MERGEFORMAT in between. This in
itself is not a problem, the information is transfered OK. The only thing
that is annoying me is that if you fill in a name, eg Fred Smith, the Fred
comes up OK, Times New Roman 14, bold etc, but if you put a space in the
information - for the surname, it will not stay in the same font and size. I
have tried removing and re-inputting the form fileds, setting the font for
the whole page - but to no avail. Can anyone help me please! Thank you

Have you tried using the CHARFORMAT switch instead?
