Fiberlink vpn problem

John

I work for a company that uses Fiberlink and a VPN client
to allow remote connectivity to company's network. After
installing Microsoft's Antispyware, the programs will not
connect. They just hang prior to allowing the client to
log in. All I get is an hourglass and task mgr states
that the vpn program is not responding. I order to
coexist I need to disable the realtime Protection for the
internet, system, & application agents. Then I have to
restart and then I am able to run the contivity VPN client
and the login screen will come up. Does anyone know why
this would happen and is there a reason? What am I
sacrificing by disabling these agents?
