Feet and Inches

I need to add the inch sign (") after a fraction to
display a number with feet and inches. The fraction is in
a separate cell by itself and I need to format it to
display the fraction with the inch sign. For example: 5/8"

Just to do the fraction, use the custom number format

# ?/#\"

However, to do feet and inches with the " requires a lot more math and
formatting using the Text function.

For the more complete solutions, Bernie supplied a bunch of
formulas that you can get at
Additional Worksheet Formulas created by Bernie Deitrick for
Fractions rounded to 1/4, 1/8, 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, and 1/128
http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/fractex1.htm

They are formatted text and no longer numeric, but when appearance
counts that's what you need.

Also of interest may be some earlier notes included with functions
posted by Bernie and can be seen in

To get both feet and inches use
#' ##/#\"

The feet apostrophe does not show if it is zero.
