Feedback Forms and Email issue

I've read most or all posts on what I am trying to do, but don't quite follow
much of it... I have created my form uploaded and it works... and the
results do get emailed to me... The server I am using does support FP file
extensions... I would like a copy of the results of the feedback form to also
be sent to a backup person... I am not finding much luck in understanding (a)
if this can be done (b) specifically, how it can be done (c) what exactly is
a Front Page Form Handler... because I see that term used in most of the
posts similarily related to my question.... I have however been successful in
creating a rule in Outlook so that when the results come into my Outlook I
have Outlook automatically forward a copy to the my backup person, but that
only works when my Outlook is open and if I am away on holiday, my computer
is not turned on therefore my backup person doesn't get the info.

Hi,

You can also create an alias (e-mail address removed) and redirect all emails
generated by the form to any email you want (as many as you want). That would
be from your hosting and remember to update your form with the new alias.

In case of FP I am not sure if you can just type another email separated by
a semicolon character. Ex. (e-mail address removed) ; (e-mail address removed)
Give that a try.

Hi Juan:

I was wondering about the semicolon thing.... not sure if it would work in
this case... but I will try it... what is this alias thing you are talking
about? Sounds interesting...

The FP Form Handler only support a single email address.

Hi,

You can ask your hosting to help you with that.
Tell them that you need and alias (ex. (e-mail address removed)) that will redirect to
the following emails:
(e-mail address removed) , (e-mail address removed) , etc

They will understand.
then make sure that the form being handled by FP will use that alias
([email protected]).
