Feed separator page from different tray in HP LaserJet 8150

I'm printing from serveral Windows XP SP2 systems over an Ethernet
network to an HP LaserJet 8150, PCL 6, installed as a TCP/IP printer. I
need to have a separator page print after each print job, but the
separator page paper will be of a different stock and color than the
paper of the print jobs. The purpose is to make print jobs visually
easy to separate at the printer.

I don't know beforehand how many pages each print job will be, so I
need to pull the color paper from one of the printer's other trays.

How can I best go about this?

Brenda-

I've seen this discussed here before, but don't recall how it ended.

One possibility is to set up the printer so the separator's tray has a
different kind of paper (Bond, Recycled, et cetera) than the other
tray(s). Then, when printing the separator page, have your printer driver
set up to print to the different kind of paper.

I think a document called "separator" could have the different paper type
selected, and that selection would be saved along with the document.
However, I haven't tried this.

Did you get an answer to this problem. It's years we are trying to
resolve it!
