Features for Template users

I need users to be able to insert bold and italic type at will in their
entries, as well as use spell check, when going from field to field in a form
template I've created. Those features are dimmed out when I try a sample
document 1. Is there something I can insert in the template that will enable
these features? Thank you! Susan
 
Good Grief! Well, I'll try it. But will that also enable BOLD and ITALIC
typefaces for the user? Thanks Graham, Susan
