Faxing using Outlook Address Book

I installed Fax Services component from Windows XP then I
installed Outlook 2000 with the expectation that the fax
service would automatically switch from the Windows
Address Book (WAB) to the Outlook Address Book (OAB)
This did not occur. Is there a way to manually correct
this issue?
 
Normally it would switch.
In what mail support mode did you install Outlook 2000?
