Favorites being added

Hello,
Under my favorites, I find several new favorites that I
did not add. I delete them and then find, upon restarting
my computer, the same favorites show up. What must I do
to eliminate adding favorites upon restart.

This is probably being caused by a third-party program
(adware, spyware,
parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run these two programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items
listed in red.)
