Favorites / alphabetical sort

Is there any way to turn off the alphabetical sorting of
my favorites? And while we are at it, the sorting for
folders versus links. I't like to have my most often used
links on top regardless of their name. This is the way my
favorites were set with my old Windows 2000. Since
upgrading to Windows XP Professional this week, the stupid
ABC sort is on and I don't know a way around it.

naming trick....get name top of list.
use _ as first character of name
example: _yahoo.com

I use a number in front of each name so they look like: "1-....", "2-....",
etc. Then if I want any moved I just increase or decrease the number.

Hmmmm...mine aren't sorted. I think they start out that
way, then you can click and drag them anywhere in the
list, and they should stay there going forward.
[I can't believe people are giving you stupid kluges like
appending a number or special character. ]

In the Links (sub-directories) part of the Favorites you
can not drag/drop to re-arrange the list. Special
characters can be used in the Links section. And it is
not stupid.
