I have a "data" drive that I have redirected
some folder to. (ie, pagefile,my doc, temporary internet
files, mail store folder, etc)
Is it possible to redirect the "Favorite" folder also?
If so, how?

Any help is appreciated...Dave

I don't know the answer to your question but I just want
to point out that having pagefile configured this way will
cause your system to be slow as it now needs to open
another partition to access pagefile when it is needed.
Pagefile is a part of the memory that XP uses like RAM
when your apps call for more memory than your RAM
presently has. pagefile=virtual memory. Keep smiling.

David,

Yes it is, there is a simple way of doing so by using TweakIU [SP1-if need
be]. From TweakUI select My Computer|Special Folders. Then take it from
there on.

Otherwise bootup regedit, find your way down to
'HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders' and change the value of the Favourites key. Do this logon on from
your account.

Do a icon rebuid with TweakIU as well if you want the star icon for your
Favourites folder.

As for your pagefile, put at least the back bone of it of the system drive
(if not all), and if your data drive is a slave drive of some sort, take the
pagefile of it completely. To read some interesting stuff on pagefiles do
as Kurttrail pointed out above and go to http://aumha.org/win5/a/xpvm.php ,
and dispell the Myths.

Most of your half baked ill digested nonsense. All partitions are
equally accessible once the system is booted. If a pagefile is on a
different physical drive it may in principle have a bit faster access,
because it is more likely that the heads are already near where they
need to be - and it is head movement (seek time) that is the slowest
aspect of hard disk access
