what is your favoriate recipe program? I'm looking for something for Windows XP
and where I can import other recipes.

The usual suspects are listed on this page:

If you use the find function - "recipes" or "food" will take you to the
programs . . .

I've tried a few of those - so far haven't found anything I like as well
as a spreadsheet - I have my file set up so I can print the recipes to
3x5 file card size . . .

All purpose programs that work well for recipes include Keynote and
TreePad - GoldenSectionNotes if you want to store images with the
recipes - all Pricelessware - on this page:

Hi Susan.
Any chance of a copy of your Excel spreadsheet for this application to my
email address?
No problem if this request is out of line in any way.
Kind regards

Excel? Who said Excel? - not me . . .

but I can export to Excel . . .

Why don't you email me (remove "whoi") and tell me what version of Excel
you have. Happy to oblige if I can.

Hey! If it's going to be in demand, maybe she can sell it! :^)

That's quite hilarious! Seven "programs" (templates really, I think),
four of which are "Rated" four out of five stars -- by a *total* of
seven "votes", four of which relate to just one entry and one each to
the other three rated entries. Rated? :):):)

Addendum: A relative of mine said she had found a recipe template as
part of the system in her copy of MS Word. Don't know which version
of Word, or where to find it -- just had a quick squiz at my Word 2000
but couldn't find anything like that here. Perhaps need to install
more of the options, or download one of those seven mentioned above
from MS. ;-)

Cheers, Phred.

no, no, no . . . This is a *genUwine* FREE spreadsheet, available to
ACF newsgroup participants in several spreadsheet formats, it may be
freely distributed on web sites and CDs etc. etc. :)

I saw 11 - at a glance it looked like 9 were for fancy backgrounds on
recipe cards - one was for use with Access - the last one showed a cook
book cover, perhaps there was more to it than that - I lacked the
strength to find out. . .
