Hi,

I get this error message a few times a day. As aresult I have to reboot the
computer in order to use the internet. Can anyone please help.

You on a wireless network? If not, Start -> Run -> msconfig <OK> ->
Startup -> untick this file name
 
I am on a wireless network. I use a d-link PCMCIA card on my laptop with a
netgear router. Will it still work if I untick the file name in msconfig?

Probably not - i think it's part of the D-Link sofware.

But try it - unticking it is not uninstalling it. If it completely
shuts you out of the internet just go back in and re-tick it.

You will have to restart your computer after untick and re-tick (and
ignore the warning window that opens when you restart - it's just
telling something you already know!!!! (i.e. you just changed the
startup settings ... Microsoft can be a painful over-controlling freak
at times.)
