fatal error cannot clean temporary directory

Over the past few days I suddenly get a pop up window when I start Outlook
2003 "fatal error, cannot clean temporay directory".
I click on OK and everything seems to work as normal. I have not installed
any new programs, just updated some MS security stuff.

Any suggestions on what might cause this or how I can fix it. I've done a
restore but no change.

I cannot quickly find anything on that exact error message for Outlook. In
Outlook, if you go to Tools->Options, Other Tab, Advanced Options, Add-In
Manager, is anything checked? Might be a 3rd party thing...

Hi Nick, did as you had suggestion I see 5 items:
Google Desktop
AVG
Chapura (my PDA)
Fax server extension
Exchange extension proper pages

all of these have been there for some time. Any other thoughts??

I would uncheck the first 3 and restart Outlook to see if that works. If it
does, start adding them back.

OK I tried that no change still get the fatal error message.
