Very interesting.... how you guys keep track of this is amazing.
The drive is a new HD that I added the other day.
If I take the old drive and install it "somewhere" and do a "VOL" will I
get the correct number to then put into VolumeID ?

Took my old drive and put it in a USB case.
The volume ID's match between the old drive and the new one.
(the new drive was loaded using Trueimage, so the ID's came across)

So mismatched Vol ID's is not my problem now that they have been confirmed.

Yes I did, but not deep enough, went back and re-read.... so if it finds
the correct Vol ID anywhere all is Ok.
Except that when I put in the new HD I "reloaded" using Acronis
Trueimage.... I then cranked up the old drive got the Vol ID and it was
the same as the new HD Vol ID.
So I think I can exclude a Vol ID problem.
