FAT32 or NTFS

When I reformatted my hard-drive I wanted my Windows XP
home edition in the FAT 32 format, but when I put in the
restore CD's it automatically starts installing the NTFS
version??? Is there anyway to tell the CD to install the
FAT 32 version and not the NTFS one?

Computer manufacturer's Restore CDs cannot be modified.
The reason your drive is being formatted NTFS is because
its larger than 32GB. When Windows XP recognizes a drive
larger than 32GB, NTFS is the only file system it will use.
