I have got four external USB 2.0 drives that are suddenly 'unformatted'
(file system: RAW, it says under 'properties'). However, when I run
chkdsk in cmd.exe it reports nicely 'type of file system is FAT32'
along with the correct volume name and then after verifying it sees all
the files and reports it 'found no problems'. But when I try to change
directories in cmd.exe it says 'The volume does not contain a
recognized file system'.
Anybody has an idea what is going on and what I can do about it?
Cheers,
