fastest chip on an ASUS A7M266

I just downloaded the manual for this board, but according to the table on page 23, the fastest processor is only 1.2 Ghz?? I know that's not right because I had a 1900+ (1.6 Ghz) on there before. Now I need to know what is the fastest supported processor?

la dan soporte para nuevas actualizaciones de bios.
Yo tengo un XP 2000+(palomino) puesto y funcionaba bien. Hay gente que
tiene un 2200+(thorougbred) e incluso mas, pero siempre con la ultima bios
1007 ó 1008.o2b.

Id say a 2600xp 266fsb chip, or a 2400xp as long as the fsb is 133mhz it
should be ok. Do a google search and see if you can find any forums where
people have this config.

The Athlon MP2800+ is the fastest 133/266 MHz FSB Athlon.

Works great in an A7N266-E - no idea if it will work in
any of the A7M boards. If you are on good terms with
a computer store in your area, maybe they'll let you try
before you buy.
