Check the Farcry web site support page. Not really a XP question.
Also check the games group, maybe someone there has experience with the
game.

didn't waste your money ;)

yes ALL of the updates are installed in my pc....

If you have successfully installed it on another computer, it verifies the
CD's are good. With this verification, it rules out install media. Was the
system similar and running XP? If it was, then it looks like a hardware
incompatibility. I would swap out the video and memory in that order as
primary problem areas. If you don't have an extra video card, lower the card
settings to the minimum install settings for Farcry. If you have optimized
your bios settings from the recommended settings, adjust them back to
default. If you have more than one stick of memory take one out boot up and
try the install. If unsuccessful check the other stick or swap out the
memory if you only have one stick.
If there are alt.farcry newsgroups, check them.
Doesn't look to be an XP specific problem, but please reply back if you find
the solution.

Though the media seem good, you may be having a problem reading them on
your machine. There's a chance your CD drive may be having problems for one
reason or another. Some drives are more sensitive than others and like some
disks more than other disks. In that case you'd try to clean the drive,
switch out cables, try a different drive, clean the contacts, etc.
