how do i make an FAQ pag

Or a page that has questions or document names at the top... and then you click on the question/name and it takes you to a lower part of the page, where the answer or document is

I know how to do the hyperlink to a DIFFERENT page, but i cant figure out how to link to an article on the SAME pag

please help.. !!!!

List your question, then your answers, and for each answer assign a
bookmark, then select each question and link to the bookmark for it's
answer.

Look up "bookmark" in Front Page help.

MMEars,

Highlight the first couple of word from each answer ... go
to Insert >> Bookmark

After you have your Bookmarks created go back to where you
wish to set up your hyperlinks and link to them.

Below the URL box and below Options use the DD to choose
the bookmark. You may need to save after creating your
Bookmarks in order for them to show as Options.

database.....try a cgi/perl database here:

www.ezscripting.co.uk or do it with ASP.

have a drop down menu (the form element) with your FAQ's or list them as
hyperlinks, then link them to call the ASP page (don't ask me about how to do
that....) ASP is new to me.

Anyway then it generates the page on the fly from the records pulled from the
database.

an example is here at my site, using a cgi script (flat text files).

http://www.murraywebdesign.shorturl.com/services.htm

a very basic example of what you probably want to do. It uses the
ezscripting.co.uk scripts (free) cgi/perl and flat text (CSV) files.

but if you're using FP extensions, then you could possibly do it with FP's
database features somehow.

If you want it to be "fancy" (not showing the answers until you click the
questions) you can use a Collapsible List.
