FAN will not start

We deployed Windows 2000 to some older Micron TREK2
notebooks. The units were running Win95.

Everything works great except the Fan will no longer start
in W2K. We learned that there may be some advanced
options to select during the initial W2K setup routine,
but we are hoping to find some other solution - as opposed
to reloding W2K - again.

Contact Micron, they may have a BIOS update that will fix the problem.

BTW, Micron is now MPC, website is http://www.buympc.com/index.html
