I've recived two different varients of this so far in three different emails (thank goodness for Norton firewall /anti-virus), one having no Subject but preports to be from MS Network Message System and the other Subject: Last Net Security Patch addressed from Microsoft Corportation Program Security Centre.
The latter looks really good and would fool anyone into thinking it was from Microsoft... except they don't send them out at random.
Be aware that an e-mail supposedly sent from Microsoft contains a worm. Do not open the exe file it contains.
It also is pretty much a tip-off when you check your email
and there are a dozen or so emails, all with the same size
(144 and 156 KB) range, all with similar "official" from and
all subjects such as "returned mail" when you did not send
any mail. And we all know (by now) that MS doesn't send
attachments.

Are you using a real email address when posting to these newsgroups? If you
do, i suggest that you fake it by putting some words in it, that a human
being understands that he/she should remove. This will decrease the number
of spam emails and viruses sent to you.
