I need to install an application to run under XP sp2 which uses the old
Microsoft JVM (the installation disc for the application comes with
msjavx86.exe, which I've installed - I think!). When I try and install the
application all I get is an error message box which says:
"java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com/ms/wfc/core/Container$Site: method
<init>(Lcom/ms/wfc/core/Contain; Lcom/ms/wfc/core/Icomponent;
Ljava/lang/StrinfV not found" This error message means very little to me,
other than 'you cannot proceed!'. I would be very grateful if anyone could
offer advice as to how to fix the problem. An older version of the
application that doesn't use the MSJVM installs without any problems - it's
just I need the latest version that we've got (of course!).
Any help would be most gratefully received.
