failed upgrade from ME to XP - Manifest Parse Error

Because ME is so buggy, Im trying to upgrade to Windows XP
Pro.

Ive tried twice and got the same error message each time.
heres my setup log, the error message is towards the
bottom. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!
