Failed to initialize properly

When shutting down Windows XP Home edition I very often
get this message: The application failed to initialize
properly (0XC0000142) mscifapp.exe (I was not able to
write down all of the error message)

If I leave it alone the computer will go ahead an shut
down. What gives with this error message?

two thirds of the way down and look for that
file mscifapp.exe. Has to do with your McAfee Software.
