Senario:
user is using "Wordpad";
Click INSERT, then OBJECT;
receive's the basic OLE interface;
click "CREATE FROM FILE", browse to the file, click OPEN;
Instead of the picture being dropped into Wordpad, we get the error "Failed to create OLE object".
SOmetimes there is a frame where the picture is supposed to be, but no picture... only the file name inside the box.
Searches on the web don't reveal much, and most reference Windows NT 4.0... We're in XP (home/pro/ent)
We've checked the file associations, and the registry entry for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.jpg... nothing seems to resolve it.
Any ideas??? Anyone??? Your help would be greatly appreciated!!
