Failed Remote Procedure Call

For some strange reason I am now unable to send emails
from Outlook. When I click the SEND button everthing just
freezes - Outlook stops responding and I can no longer
acsses the email I am trying to send. I have to open Task
Manager and "end task" on both the open email and Outlook.
The error message states in a Microsoft Word window :

"The Remote Procedure Call Failed"

Anyone out there that can help me I would be eternally
grateful.

But please remember I am no programmer - just fairly
computer adept.

Try creating a new mail profile here: Control Panel->Mail Icon->Show
profiles.

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
