failed Backup Exec 9 uninstallation

I am trying to troubleshoot a failed Backup Exec
uninstallation. I loaded the program during the Server
2000 installation a few days ago. Using the Server's
Admin Account, I was able to launch and use the program,
setting up jobs and running successful test backups and
restores. Then yesterday, I was prompted for a login to
Backup Exec. None of my Admin accounts worked. I decided
to uninstall and reinstall the program. I went into
Control Panel and attempted an add/remove. I got about 2
minutes into he uninstallation, then stopped, failed and
rolled back the proceedure. I then attempted an
uninstallation from the Veritas CD. No go. I tried a
repair, a remove, and a reinstall. I stopped all Backup
Exec services and still all these functions would fail,
with the following error messages:

"Unable to load SQL Server ODBC driver resource DLL. The
application cannot continue. The application cannot
continue".

clicking OK, the server then displays a few minutes later:

"Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed".

I am not using SQL, but I am using Sybase PC Anywhere
Suite 9. How can I get around these errors so I can
reinstall the app? I don't want to have to resort to
reinstalling the server from scratch. Any suggestions are
graciously appreciated in advance.

It sounds like you need to call Veritas support.
