Fade in and Fade out Boxes

You know how when you open a new window in Vista it doesn't just like pop up,
it fades in. And when you close it it "fades out". Well I just got done
transferring some files off my old computer and my boxes don't fade in or
fade out and more
=[ =[. Did I accidentally change the settings? I want that cool feature
back! Help!

Make sure that the Windows Aero theme is enabled. You can also go to System
Properties > Advanced (tab) > under Performance - click 'Settings' and make
sure the following radio box is selected:
Animate controls and elements inside windows
Animade windows when minimizing and maximizing
