Fact or fiction - Intel E series processors have sticky sensors.

I have read at a couple of sites that the E8*** series CPU have a
problem with sticky temperature sensors. Now I am not interested in
over clocking I am simply after a good processor to last me for a
while. If the Core 2 Duo's have problems with sticking sensors, does
that also apply for the Core 2 Quad CPU's.
I figure that the best place to find out the truth is to ask you guys
who have these CPU's, and can tell me if the CPU's both Duo and Quad
have any problems under normal Spec installation.

Cheers

I would keep that confined to no more than the E8 series. If it were a
problem with anything else, it would be reported.

Thanks John Doe, I will give the E8 Series a miss and look to the Q9
Series instead for a replacement.
Sorry for the late response, My eyes are unhappy with all the reading
I have been doing, need new glasses.
