I have 2 screens. Sometimes, when I have one excel sheet on one screen, and
another in the same workbook on the other screen, hitting F2 on a formula
will highlight the dependent cells on each screen (i.e., in each worksheet).
Other times, it only highlights the dependent cells on the sheet on which my
formula exists. It is quite helpful to see the depedent cells on in all
sheets. Any thoughts? Thanks

Check the precedents and then delete the lines with

Thanks - I'm looking for the way to do it without trace precedents, as doing
so creates the reference box to another sheet, whereas I'm looking to see the
boxes immediately highlighted. But appreciate the suggestion! thx
