Extract picture from PDF file?

Is there any freeware to extract the pictures from a PDF file? I can't
find any such option in the Acrobat reader

Is there any freeware to extract the pictures from a PDF file? I can't
find any such option in the Acrobat reader

PDF is just a compressed EPS file...

however if your graphics app doesn't support this then take a screen shot
(Print Screen button)
then clip the image as normal

A bit depends on reader version. In v6, select tool "select Image", click on
image, right-click and select paste to clipboard.Then in any pic editor
select paste from clipboard.OR another way: select "snapshot tool", draw a
circle around desired image and you have it in clipoard.
If you have earlier version, select "image select", then draw a circle
around picture, then BEFORE you click copy, enlarge view to 300 or 400% -
that's because this way you get better picture quality - then click edit -
copy. This enlarged view is appearently not needed in version 6, as i see
this was corrected in ver 6. But in previous versions copying was depending
on current screen resolution.

"Tools|Basic" menu itemefore.

OK. Just remember to test image resolution first, as i said - depending on
version, you should enlarge view to gain resolution. I found that this is
however not necesarry in ver 6 - don't ask me why :)
