Extract from URL

http://www.example.com/store/product.jsp?boat&ID=Z12345&NXT=product.jsp

I need to extract only the ID (Z12345) from this URL. The ID will always start
with a "Z" and also will be exactly 6 characters long (Z - 1 character, number
- 5 characters).

How can I extract only this 6 character ID?

Try this:
=MID(E8,FIND("ID=Z",E8)+3,6)
assuming hyperlink is in E8

I am getting a #VALUE error, and I made sure to change the E8 in both spots in
the formula. Any other ideas?

It works OK for me!! If you have typed it, from the post, make sure that you
got it dead on!! If you've copied and pasted, then I'm stuck!! Like I say,
it's OK on mine.
