extraacting information from one list to a smaller list

HI,
I have a file that has all the data names and numbers.
Then I received a smaller list that only has the names.
and I need to match the rest of the information that is on
the larger list to the names that are on the smaller
list...can anyone help....vlookup??could that be the
answer?

vlookup would work.
I would just import the 2 files into Access.
That way, you could match them all at once and export to
Excell.
