I was just wondering. I have used outlook express forever. I have had outlook
but until now haven't used it. I use Lotus Notes at work and everyone says
how great Outlook is. I waht to tell you that express blows it outa the water
as far as speed of reciept and shows what it is doing and how many new
messages arrived after the send. When I click on a link in an email it takes
forever to open IE. It also locks up outlook as it does it. Is this normal.
What am I missing? I have to be missing something right?

Do you want help with Outlook, or Outlook Express (this is an Outlook
group)?

What Operating System do you have? What version of Outlook do you have?

Well sorry first as I didn't put the OS on here too I have XP media center
and Outlook 2003. I am talking about Outlook as far as problems but don't
want to give it up unless I have to. But it is annoying to have these
problems.

You don't give any details (e.g. Outlook version, account type, etc), so
it's a bit hard to guess where your problem comes from.

P.S. if you just use Outlook as a mail client, and don't use any of the
many other functionalities, then you may actually be better off with
Outlook Express.

Well I just have a isp account and the Outlook 2003 and XP media center. I
was thinking about using some of the other features in Outlook but so far I
have been pretty unsatisfied with the performance of the ap.
