External Reference Not Valid ?

I keep getting errors for this external reference for my cell, and when I
don't get an error the cell says #REF instead of the data in the required
cell in Book2. :-(

='[C:\ProgramFiles\systems\My Program\Data1\Book2.xls]Sheet1'!$A$2
