External HD

Brand New HD and I get this when i try to organize my stuff like put
them in different folders it keeps saying i dont have enough space to do
that and i know i have enough room, Is there a setting of something I don't
see? TIA

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen,
click on Disk Management. It will show up on the right hand side of the
screen.

Is it all formatted? In a single partition or multiple partitions? In NTFS
or FAT32? You must remember that if you use FAT32, XP will only see the
first 32gb of the drive. And most folks buy much bigger hard drives than
32gb these days
