my exteneded desktop to work i have try to tick the extened box but when i
press ok it goes back to before blank

*Assuming* you are speaking of Display Settings and working with dual
monitors in a Windows XP system (Which Windows XP flavor? Service Pack
level? What Video Card? Latest drivers *from the actual manufacturer*
downloaded and installed?) - do you have both monitors connected, powered on
and confirmed working individually?
 
well, are you sure
each monitor functions
in an individual windows
session?
