Situation:
----------
A DOS text file created from the output of the DOS 'tree /f > name.txt'
command.

Contains a recursive directory listing including file names, using extended
characters to represent line graphics.

Problem:

Hi Mike,

In Tools=>Options=>General in Word turn on the
[x] Confirm conversions at open
then use File=>Open on the .txt file. Word should then give you a dialog that lets you choose some options as far as how to parse
the .txt document.

The line graphics may still not show correctly unless the font you're using in Word is a fixed spacing one, such as Courier New.

How to load / import / convert the file to correctly show the line graphics? <<
