Extend C:\partition past 1024 sectors.

I have 4 GB of free space in the active primary
partition. When I try to enlarge the C:\ drive, using
Partition Magic, a message window says "the partition
crosses the 1024 cylinder boundary and may not be
bootable.
Will Windows XP OS work if the C:\ partition is larger
than 1024 cylinders?

hi

That`s weird, I have used partition magic to resize a
40gig hard drive from C drive to C and D drive. I have
never seen that message. Also I did this partitioning
with OS and stuff installed.

It sounds like you are using an older version of Partition Magic.
Since version 7, there has been no problem with such messages.
