Expression clause in the Totals row in the QBE?

K

Ken Snell \(MVP\)

Are you asking under what conditions you would use that Expression setting?
It's used to identify a column that is not being grouped on but is a
constant, or contains a calculation/expression (sometimes including an
aggregate function within the expression), or other situations. Tell us more
about the specific situation that you have in your query.

I think I understand what you are saying, but I need to see an example of
applying it in a QBE grid in the Total row as we would see GROUP BY, MAX,
MIN, WHERE, etc.

Perhaps an email ([email protected]) to me a screen shot of an example in
a QBE grid would give me the understanding that I need.

Never post your email address on one of these forums. It will be picked up by
web crawlers and used against you. Trust me.
