Is there any to have all entries in a excel worksheet be
automatically expressed as negatives, without having to
enter them as -'s

Sure. Once you're done entering all the data, type -1 into any cell. Copy
it. Select all your data. Hit Edit-Paste special, Multiply, Ok. Multiplying
any number by -1 makes it a negative number, right?
:)
